Privacy Policy

DeMouth — Mouth Click Remover ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
1. Recordings, Audio & Video Files
- Your audio and video never leave your device. All detection and repair runs on-device using Apple's Sound Analysis and Core ML frameworks plus on-device signal processing — nothing is sent to a server.
- The App does not upload, transmit, stream, or store your recordings or video clips on our servers. We operate no servers that hold user media.
- Original and cleaned files live in the App's sandbox on your iPhone, and are removed when you delete the App or the corresponding history entry.
- When you process a video, the App cleans only the audio track and re-muxes it back into your video without re-encoding the picture. The visual content is preserved bit-for-bit on your device.
- If you choose to share a cleaned file via the iOS share sheet (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, etc.), you control where it goes — we do not see it.
2. Data We Store Locally
- Clean history: File paths, durations, per-class detection settings, event counts (e.g. clicks, pops, breaths), and timestamps for each cleaning job. Stored locally via SwiftData.
- Preferences: Per-class sensitivity, breath reduction mode, default export format, theme, and notification settings.
- Daily usage counter: A local counter that resets at midnight to enforce the free-tier daily limit. No counter data is transmitted off-device.
- Purchase status: Subscription state is managed by Apple's StoreKit and cached locally for feature gating.
3. Permissions We Request
- Microphone: Only when you tap "Record now" to capture a new clip in the App. We do not record in the background or while the App is closed.
- Photo Library (read-only): Only when you choose to import a video clip. We access only the clip you select via the iOS PhotosPicker — we do not enumerate your library.
- Files / iCloud Drive: Only the audio file you explicitly pick is imported into the App's sandbox.
- Notifications (optional): Used only to notify you when a long file finishes processing in the background. You can disable in iOS Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Manages subscriptions and purchases. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Google AdMob (free tier only): Displays banner and interstitial ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. Your audio, video, and cleaned files are never shared with AdMob. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Premium subscribers see no ads and trigger no AdMob requests.
5. Advertising & Consent (Free Tier)
- On the free tier, Google AdMob may collect device-level identifiers (such as an advertising identifier) and usage data to serve and measure ads.
- On first launch we present a consent prompt via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to gather the consent required in the EU and other applicable regions. Where the App uses an identifier to track across apps, iOS also shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — you can decline.
- You can review or reset your ad-consent choices from the App's Settings, and manage tracking from iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Premium (ad-free) users trigger no advertising SDK collection.
6. Data Storage and Security
- All recordings, video clips, cleaned files, history, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- No audio, video, transcripts, or media-identifiable content is transmitted to or stored on our servers. We have no servers that hold user media.
- Purchase verification uses Apple's secure StoreKit framework.
- The App's core detection and repair features work completely offline.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your audio or video recordings with any third party. On the free tier, AdMob may collect device-level data for ad personalization; your media content is excluded.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Delete individual cleaned clips from the History tab inside the App
- Delete the App to remove all local recordings, history, and preferences
- Disable Notifications, Microphone, and Photo Library permissions from iOS Settings at any time
- Review or reset advertising consent from the App's Settings (free tier)

9. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is not intended for children under 13. The App processes only media you choose and does not include a social feed or user-generated content sharing.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
